Earlier this summer, from June 19th - 25th, LEF was pleased to support 4 New England fellows to the Robert Flaherty Film Seminar. In this second year of LEF New England fellowships at Flaherty, filmmakers Cozette Carroll, Melissa Davenport, Ann Kim and Rhonda Moskowitz all attended the seminar and each gave glowing feedback about the films they saw, the people they met, and the inspiration they received. Here's just a sampling of their feedback:
"My notebook is filled with creative ideas I gleaned."
"...catapulted me into a new perspective."
"Dennis Lim’s programming was masterful."
Mubi.com's The Daily Notebook has a two-part article that rounds up the program put together by Dennis Lim, which focused on the "ignored spaces" of work:

These thought-provoking films are definitely worth seeking out. The intense screening program at the Flaherty had over 6 hours of screenings each day, and several more of discussion - we hope our LEF fellows made it out more enriched than exhausted!
